The new YONEX Power Cushion SHB 65 Z3 Wide is designed with the goal of a “shoeless feel” in mind. The new Yonex Power Cushion SHB 65 Z3 Wide combines an upgraded comfortable fit and increased traction for an overall elevated badminton shoe that glides across the court with ease.
To achieve an improved fit on this all-around model, a new seamless upper and lateral shell was introduced to the classic synthetic leather build. The new seamless upper is an expanded synthetic leather piece that minimizes material overlap. This releases the stress from when the shoe is flexed, allowing a more comfortable fit. The hardened shell-like portion near the ankle, also known as the expanded lateral shell, provides a secure fit around the ankle.

Shock Absorption
The YONEX Power Cushion absorbs shock and then reverses the impact energy for smooth transfer into the next movement. Compared with urethane, the YONEX Power Cushion construction provides 3 times more shock-absorbing power. When dropped from 7m above a Power Cushion sheet, an egg will bounce back 4m without damage.
POWER CUSHION +

LATERAL SHELL + STABILITY REINFORCEMENT
The LATERAL SHELL is the shell-like portion, positioned to support the area that absorbs the most force, reducing lateral shake in sidestep footwork. The STABILITY REINFORCEMENT is composed of abrasion-resistant artificial leather that stabilizes movement and improves lateral shake.

A bootie is integrated into the shoe connecting to the tongue and cradling your foot for improved comfort and a better all-around fit.
Toe Assist Shape
A toe-centric design that cuts down on pressure in the big toe, as well as offers improved support at the mid-foot and heel for a stable fit. Power loss is reduced, allowing for swift footwork.
